Wildlife Photography with Chris Reekie

Guided by professional photographer Chris Reekie, you will learn essential techniques for shooting wildlife in natural habitats, from camera settings, composition and field practices. Get ready to experience Wildlife in Wild Fife!

Perfect for both beginners and enthusiasts.

Meet at 9am – Higham Toll (what3words ///result.fish.fidgeted), 5 minute drive to the Hide. 10am-4pm photography workshop takes place.

Please bring your own camera. A DSLR / Mirrorless camera is recommended although a bridge camera would be okay too. A long lens with a maximum focal distance of at least 400mm, and if you have them a fast lens (ie 70-200 f2.8) and macro. Tripod/monopod or beanbag is a personal choice.

Participants bring lunch and snacks, flasks of tea/coffee etc. Please be aware there are no toilets on site.

The style of hide is rustic, please bring appropriate clothing and footwear as it can get cold when sitting – even in summer.
